A little about me. Where to start? I’m a North Jersey native, but reside in NYC on the Upper East Side (UES). Been living here for close to the last 6 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. Took Computer Science at Lehigh University out in bumblefuck, PA. This helped me garner a job in the corporate world where I started out working for the largest General Contractor in all of New York. I spent 4 and a half years there learning the ins and outs of corporate politics, and this place was notorious for such. Lots of red tape.
Needless to say, after 4 and half years my career plateaued with my employer at the time and decided to move on. This helped me change my perspective on things, as I moved out of the construction market and into a financial one where things were very different. Information Technology was no longer considered an overhead and had become an asset. I was now working in an environment where my skills were admired rather than shunned. It was a great experience but extremely hectic. Working on a trading floor of 200 salespeople has its mix of ups and downs. Big Brother would bring in lunch everyday to prevent a lunch hour and he was often watching every digital move you made; be it email or instant messaging. It was great while it lasted and brought me up to speed on the differences between markets, but it was time to move on yet again.
I worked on some independent projects for some larger, more commercial entities. There was The Related Companies, which manages commercial real estate in many worldwide locations like Yankee Stadium and the AOL Time Warner Center. I also had the chance to work on an independent project with Cravath, Swaine, & Moore, on of the biggest law firms in the world representing clients such as IBM.
Well, you found your way the texture love. My take on the looks and feels of the world that surrounds us. As it stands, my work be showcased by following the links.
Gotta get these things more visible.
