I have been enjoying my time with my new friend, the all powerful Rebel XSi, still nameless. It’s been about a week since I have had said friend, and I’ve loved every minute of it. With the 300mm lens I had some edumacation to consider.

I‘ve never used one of these zoom lenses and there’s a few things I needed to figure out. At max optical zoom, camera shake is much more prevalent. Creating the blurred background was new to me as well, at least the consciousnous of it. All in all, I’m pretty happy about my new toy and want to share the beautiful images it has produced.
